IVF Statistics

In 2006, the OU Physicians Reproductive Medicine and ART Laboratory was established under the direction of Michael T. Zavy, Ph.D. and Karl Hansen, M.D., Ph.D.  Our IVF program has experienced considerable growth since this time and has consistently been above the national averages.

One of our missions is to decrease the number of pregnancies with multiple gestations while maintaining a good pregnancy rate for our patients.  In an effort to do this, we minimize the number of embryos that are transferred into the uterus, using guidelines set by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
